A Chinese man who crashed his mint-condition Lamborghini Aventador was probably still hurting on the inside despite not suffering any serious injuries.

The driver was lucky to escape a collision that totalled his $970,000 supercar.

He only has himself to blame, though, after a witness said he saw him driving irresponsibly.

‘The sports car was speeding on the motorway when it collided with two other vehicles," a Weibo user wrote after posting images of the mangled car.

‘The vehicle sped past me – I estimate at 110mph – and five minutes later we caught it up. It had crashed.

Luckily no-one was injured. Police said they were still investigating.
