Doing business in China? Go green or they might kill you for pollution
China might be getting a little too serious about environmental protection with its new way of dealing with heavy polluters. They're threatening to kill them. Pollution has been a major problem in China, contributing to 1.2 million premature deaths.
The people of China have grown increasingly aware of and angry about the problem. The Chinese govement is trying to reverse its reputation for lax environmental standards with 10 anti-pollution measures including an increased focus on solar energy, reducing emissions and executing anyone who doesn't follow the new laws.
