'Diva Bieber' could learn from David Beckham

JUSTIN Bieber has been labelled a diva after watching the NBA playoffs with a bodyguard and police while David Beckham opted for no security.

The pair was courtside for the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers game in Florida but seemed world's apart.

Bieber's world consisted of an entourage of friends, a huge bodyguard that stood behind the singer all night blocking the view of those behind him, and a police officer in front.

He was decked out in black leather pants and shirt with three gold chains around his neck and seemingly unremovable black sunglasses.

Beckham's world was surrounded by billionaires, including wireless entrepreneur Marcelo Claure, but none opted for additional security. The now retired football icon wore blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

Miami Heat's superstar LeBron James went up to Beckham at half time to shake his hand. Beckham is considering investing in a new Major League Soccer franchise for Florida, as the state doesn't have a team already.

It seems Bieber in contrast can't do much right. He was booed by fans in London after tuing up two hours late to his own concert, is the subject of police complaints for hooning around his Los Angeles neighbourhood and having wild parties, and he failed to collect his pet monkey after the animal was kept by German customs officials because Bieber didn't have the right paperwork to take the monkey into the country.
