Detail-oriented medic dumps human blood on student

In a scene straight out of "Carrie," an Austin, Texas paramedic is being disciplined for dousing a high school student in blood. Except he was conducting a lesson about the dangers of drunk driving, not at the prom. And using human blood, not pig blood.

The medic, who @gdsworld calls "a method actor who needs work very soon," spilled blood on the student volunteer to make the fake wounds "look more realistic." Although the chief medical officer at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center says, "There was no reason that a student participant should have come in physical contact with human blood," officials assured the teen that the blood carried a "very low risk of infection."
