Delighted Hilary Duff shows off her slimline figure in size 26 jeans

Strolling around the shops grabbing a rare moment of alone time, Hilary Duff certainly looks pleased with herself.

And no wonder - nine months after the birth of her son Luca the the Lizzie McGuire star is back in her 26in waist skinny jeans. 

The 25-year-old proudly showed off her slimmed down post-baby figure as she shopped in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

Hilary breast fed her son and committed herself to losing her baby weight slowly and sensibly in order to protect both their health.

But her hard work at the gym is showing results.

After delightedly slipping into her jeans she tweeted to her trainer: 'Yaaaa b*****! @gabejohns your kickin my ass and its paying off!

Hilary has also been eating healthy foods to aid her weight loss, and shared a photo of her moing wake up call - a green juice.

She's not the only one indulging in the celebrity favourite - with her son's sippy cup also full of the vitamin packed drink.

While it is an unusual choice for a child so long, Hilary is certainly setting a good example to the tot.

This will be Luca's first Christmas and his excited mother is already preparing for the big day.

She tweeted 'Christmas is coming' along with pictures of red bows on her doors, and shared pictures of her collection of decorations.
