DeKalb Police Search for Teen Marcus Holloway's Killer
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County police are working to track down the gunman who killed a teenager just months before graduation.
A candlelight vigil was held Sunday night to remember Marcus Holloway.
Holloway's mother says her son met up with some friends Friday night in a parking lot in front of the Columbia Apartments and was killed in a case of mistaken identity.
Sabrina Holloway says the friends now admit to slashing someone's tires earlier in the night, before her son joined them.
She says that victim came back with others and started shooting into the crowd, hitting Marcus.
The Holloway family says police have told them they have some very strong leads in their search for the gunman
