Corvette Stingray 2014 is introduced by General Motors at North American International Auto Show
Is the 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray an insta-classic?

An instant icon? General Motors unveiled the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at previews Sunday for the North American Inteational Auto Show.

It's the first new version of the classic American sports car since 2005 and only the seventh generation of the sweet ride since it was first introduced in 1953.

Able to go from zero to 60 mph in less than four seconds and take coers with remarkable grip, it's the most powerful Corvette ever, as well as the most fuel-efficient.

As for its looks, reviews have been mixed. One expert sniffs that it doesn't pay enough homage to the car's \"swoopy heritage\" and is \"too angular.\" Another says it comprises \"a mash-up of ideas\" and is \"effective but expected.\"
