Clooney, Keibler 'hadn't had sex in ages' and split up was because of distance
It was distance that split George Clooney and Stacy Kiebler, not her desire to have children. The couple reportedly broke up over the phone after not sleeping together for months. Picture: Getty

OK, so now that they’re officially done-zo, we hear that George Clooney and Stacy Keibler actually broke up over the phone. It seems that distance apart (that old chestnut) ended the couple’s two-year relationship for good.

Clooney has been filming for an extended period in Europe, where he looks set to stay on until the end of the year (he also spends a great deal of time hanging out at his man cave in Lake Como). Kiebler has been grounded in Los Angeles due to her new TV show Supermarket Superstar.

Sources are reporting that Clooney and Kiebler hadn’t “had sex in months” (although how “sources would know this, we’re not sure). So, that’s what did it, not the old Stacy pressured old George to commit to marriage and babies. Ladies, get in line.
