CHRISTINA Aguilera is now Chris-tinier after the singer debuted a new slimmer look at the Billboard Music Awards yesterday.

Aguilera performed her new hit Feel This Moment with Pitbull at the ceremony, but the focus was more on her svelte figure than her singing.

People magazine reports the star had been exploring "new methods of exercise" with various personal trainers - and the hard work is paying off.

Sources close to Aguilera also confirm she has taking a healthy approach to her body makeover.

"[She's] making herself a priority, trying new exercises and trying things she loves and enjoys rather than stuff to just 'lose weight.' This is really from the inside out," reports E! News.

Aguilera will retu to the fifth season of The Voice US after the departure of Shakira.
