Chris Brown shows charitable side – painting graffiti in aid of disabled kids
CHRIS Brown shows off his graffiti skills – in a bid to raise money for charity.
The star, better known for his on-off relationship with Rihanna, demonstrated his generous side as he spent a day painting with children for his Symphonic Love Foundation Global Best Buddies Day.
He teamed up with artist Romero Britto in Miami and the pair created a graffiti mural on the side of a house together with disabled children and young adults.
Chris and the kids also made portraits, which will be sold – with all proceeds from the day going to charity.
An onlooker in Miami, Florida, said: “They inspired each other. After they painted the mural to auction for Best Buddies, Chris and Britto went outside to paint the wall at the entrance to Britto’s studio.
“It’s amazing to see the different styles and process of the two artists come together into this incredible piece of work.
“Everyone got along great and was excited to be a part of this. The Best Buddies kids were so excited!”
Meanwhile, Chris has hinted his new album X is about his ex-girlfriend.
The 23-year-old singer - now reunited with Rihanna despite still being on probation for beating her in 2009 - has admitted a lot of his new music was inspired by a former love interest, believed to be Karrueche Tran.
Chris said: "The song and the album title 'X' has a couple different meanings. It can refer to an ex-girlfriend, in terms of you always look forward to moving forward from.
"It's also about being a reject in a sense. In me being myself, being able to grow up, me not always hanging around the right crowd or doing the right thing all the time - it's me saying, 'I'm over it. I'm past the bulls**t now.'"
Model Karrueche, 24, dated the Don't Wake Me Up star, who she has a clothing line with, before he left her in October 2012 to reunite with Rihanna.
Chris revealed earlier this week that he thinks about having a "perfect" family with the 24-year-old Stay singer in the future.
He said: "It's in a part of my brain, definitely. Right now I have a lot more people to take care of as far as my family, as far as inspiring artists I'm working with. Everything I'm doing now is focused on me giving back.
"The family is there. It's going to be what it is. It's going to be perfect. Hopefully that's in the future and I can wait it out."
