China is cracking down on strippers attending funerals
Would you hire a stripper for a funeral? Hiring Funeral Strippers In China

China is cracking down on strippers attending funerals because a popular way to celebrate someone"s life in China is by watching naked dancers, apparently.

In fact this risqué practise has gotten so out of hand China"s Ministry of Culture are trying to crack down on the performances.

Rather than the death of a loved one getting people ‘in the mood", strippers are thought to be hired for funerals in a bid to draw in more mouers.

Some elements of Chinese culture suggest that if a funeral is attended by many mouers the deceased will have good fortune in the afterlife.

The Chinese govement are expected to work with police to put a stop to the practise following a picture of women dancing at a funeral that quickly spread around the world after being posted online.

One funeral earlier this year which featured female stripper ended with the organisers being fined 70,000 yuan ($11,300) after police tued up.

The Chinese govement said such practices ‘corrupt the social atmosphere".

This isn"t a new phenomenon – China"s state television channel ran a story on strippers being booked for funerals way back in 2006, however now police forces across the country are being tasked with putting a stop to the ‘tradition".
