Chicken feet from 1967 were being sold as fresh in China
Turns out 'fresh' chicken feet sold in China are older than most of us

Hope you didn't order the stir-fried chicken feet for lunch. Authorities investigating an underground Vietnamese distribution network that's been pumping chicken feet, tripe and throat (gulp!) into the food market in China have uncovered something bound to tu stomachs the world over: chicken feet dating back to 1967 being sold as new. The vintage chicken feet — which, the Telegraph notes, were fresh when the Doors and Pink Floyd released their debut albums — were treated with chemicals, including hydrogen peroxide, to kill bacteria and make the foul fowl feet appear \"white and big.\" Around 22 tons of the extremely out-of-date meat was discovered. No word on where the feet had spent the last 46 years kicking back. [Source]
