Cheerleading mom Iris Gibney ‘had sex with daughter’s classmate’

A MOTHER-of-three who volunteered for her daughter’s high school cheerleading squad has been charged with having sex with one of her daughter’s classmates in a parked car.

Iris Gibney, 42, was arrested and charged with corruption of minors, disseminating obscene materials to a minor and trespass by motor vehicle after allegedly being caught in the act with the 17-year-old boy, The New York Post reports.

The Pennsylvania mother was allegedly caught by a police officer, naked and engaging in ‘physical contact’ with the boy inside the car at 8.30pm on November 15.

Gibney, who is an employee at Victoria’s Secret, met the boy as she volunteered to help out the cheerleading squad at her daughter’s Pottsgrove high school.

The mother confessed to the illicit relationship when confronted by the officer, according to the arrest report.

“I’ve never been in trouble before. I can’t believe I did this. I have three children of my own — I am so, so sorry,” she allegedly said at the time.

Gibney has been freed on $50,000 bail and will face court again on December 30.
