IT'S a battle of the exes.

Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller has accused Denise Richards of abusing her twin sons, Max and Bob, while they were in her care.

In a move set to inflame an already firey custody battle, Mueller also told police Richards abused her own two daughters with Sheen, Sam and Lola.

TMZ reported cops knocked on Richards' door on Tuesday night but she didn't let them in because her daughters were home.

The actress was reportedly upset by the claim, calling it "ridiculous" and "vindictive". The children will be forced to answer a set of intense questions that could be traumatizing.

Richards was ordered to care for Sheen and Mueller's twins after authorities removed the boys from Mueller’s home while she recovered from a drug problem.

Earlier this month, the boys moved out of Richard’s home and into the care of Mueller and her brother.
