Canoer accidentally discovers largest waterfall found in 100 years
Waterfall discovered by Adam Shoalts is largest found in Canada in 100 years

Explorer Adam Shoalts is used to uncovering new territory in the wildeess of Canada, but he didn't expect this. Canoeing along a section of the Again River in the Hudson Bay lowlands of northe Canada, he suddenly found himself plunging 40 feet off a watery ledge to the river below.

Shoalts had discovered the largest uncharted waterfall in Canada found in 100 years. Further along the river, he went on to discover six more. Now the Royal Canadian Geographical Society is sponsoring Shoalts to update the official map for one of the most remote places in the world. \"There's still a lot of work left to be done,\" Shoalts said. \"We don't know the world nearly as well as we think we do.\"
