Brothers Zackary and Charles Berrong arrested for alleged online drug business

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Two brothers have been arrested after an investigation revealed they were selling fentanyl and other illegal substances through an online business out of their home, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's office.

Zackary Christopher Berrong, 25, and Charles Trenton Berrong, 20, were arrested after a search warrant was executed on March 20. They are both facing several charges including, three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, one count of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and one count of Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Related Objects., Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Doug Rainwater said in a press release.

The search warrant was based on suspicion of illegal drugs being distributed out of the home located at 2060 Pinecrest Place in Cumming, according to police.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit say several federal agencies including the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Homeland Security Investigations and Drug Enforcement Administration participated in the raid.

Other illegal narcotics seized in the search were suspected to be LSD, cathinone, diazepam and butylone and other "research chemicals", Rainwater said.

The brothers are being held at the Forsyth County Adult Detention Center without bond.
