Boy saves dad from bat-wielding road rage attacker on Moscow street

THINGS can get pretty wild on Russia roads, but a young boy is being hailed a hero for standing up to a road rage attacker who came after his father.

What appeared to be a minor traffic crash — when a white SUV collided with a sedan in northeast Moscow — escalated quickly after the sedan driver pulled over and got out wielding a baseball bat.

As he scrapped with the SUV driver on the side of the road, putting him in a headlock, the SUV driver"s son tried to break it up.

He grabbed the discarded bat and tried to beat the man, yelling "don"t touch my father,” according to Russia Today.

But the suit-wearing sedan driver takes the bat and throws it away before coming at the boy"s father again.

As a woman tried to keep the boy out of the way, he kept defending his dad.

Undeterred, the young boy steps between them again yelling "get off him” and trying to push the man away.

The fight finally breaks up as the boys father walks away and a passer-by yells at the man in the suit "hey you idiot, leave the kid alone! What are you doing?”.
