Bodybuilder's hilarious fake tan blunder

Fake tan fail: A competitor in the Arnold Classic Europe bodybuilding event in Madrid has not exactly done a thorough job applying his extra dark fake bake

A competitor in the Aold Classic Europe bodybuilding competition did a great job when he applied his fake tan – from the neck down.

His head literally paled in comparison to his super-bronzed body as he flexed his muscles for the judges.

The three-day fitness festival is named after bodybuilding legend and former Califoia goveor Aold Schwarzenegger, who also hosted the event.

The competition is the European version of the Aold Classic, the brainchild of Aold Schwarzenegger and co-promoter and fitness legend Jim Lorimer, which has been running in the U.S. since 1988.

The pair was joined by Dr. Rafael Santonja, the president of the Inteational Federation of Body Building (IFBB), to create the European version in 2011.

‘We have had many requests over the years to take the Aold Classic to many cities throughout the world, and we are excited to begin the globalization of our event with the first Aold Classic Europe,' Mr Lorimer said last year.

‘Rafael Santonja has been one of our biggest supporters and we look forward to working together for many years.'

The original Aold Classic, now known as the Aold Sports Festival, has been held in Columbus, Ohio for 24 years.

The Aold Classic Europe, held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos del Campo de las Naciones in Madrid, included both professional and amateur bodybuilding and fitness competitions as well as bikini fitness, Paralympics and gymnastics.

Winner of the IFBB Pro Bodybuilding was Shawn Rhoden. In the female categories Oksana Grishina beat favourite Adela Garcia in the Pro Fitness competition whilst Erin Ste took the crown in Pro Figure.
