Sex is all about power, and nothing says power sex like Barack Obama dressed like James Bond.

The US president has become the unwitting face of contraband Viagra in one of Pakistan"s most conservative regions.

Packets of the little blue pills are being smuggled into Peshawar, the hardline capital of the country"s Pashtun region, from neighbouring Afghanistan.

Local resident Ehsan Ullah tried to explain the drug"s popularity, with a packet of four tablets, with or without Mr Obama"s face, selling for about 60p.

‘People use it because these pills have several characteristics," he told the AFP news agency. "They help anyone who is unable to have sex, they improve the duration for people who have destroyed their youth through masturbation, so people use them to prolong their staying power, to 30 minutes to one hour."

But fellow resident Saeed Ahmed added: ‘It is very bad that shopkeepers are selling these pills… it"s wrong the govement should ban them, they have paralysed men"s sexual organs, paralysed people"s legs and genitals."
