Baldwin quits Twitter with furious rant over James Gandolfini funeral tweets

Alec Baldwin has quit Twitter after threatening to ‘f*** up’ a joualist who claimed his pregnant wife Hilaria Baldwin was tweeting throughout Sopranos star James Gandolfini’s funeral yesterday.

A reporter claimed Hilaria posted a series of ‘upbeat’ tweets, including smoothie recipes and shopping tips, while at the service – provoking threats from the Hollywood actor.

Hitting back at the ‘blatant lies’, Baldwin, 55, called the joualist a ‘toxic little queen’ and said, ‘I’m gonna f***…you…up’.

Continuing with his tirade, Baldwin said he would ‘put my foot up your f****** ass … but I’m sure you’d dig it too much’.

Hilaria, 29, has also vehemently denied the claims.

She tweeted yesterday: ‘FYI I don’t believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would.’

Addressing her retweets, she continued: ‘Here is some info… When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted.’

Sticking up for her hubby, she added: ‘My husband fights for me fiercely. It hurts to be misunderstood and it hurts to see your loved one in pain-even more so when she is pregnant

‘I hope that this reporter knows how much pain and drama he has caused from his poor joualism. Lying and bullying are shameful.

‘Today was supposed to be about remembering a friend, loving each other, treasuring life, & moving fwd w more appreciation for our fragility’
