Kimberley District Superintendent Allan Adam wasn"t surprised by the incident.

‘This is the third traffic action we"ve had at that location with significant amounts of alcohol being conveyed along that route."

Superindendent Adam said that people were frequently found to be driving on suspended licenses or not restraining themselves or other passengers in the Kimberley area.

‘And unfortunately on a large number of occasions those passengers are kids," he added.
