This is what happens to your face if you go out in the sun without sun-cream on…

Not really. This is in fact what an apple looks like after having a few marks cut into it and being left out in the Las Vegas sun for a week.

Handyman Mark Eldred, 44, scored a few features into the apple and then left mother nature to do the rest.

The rotten result looks creepily similar to a shrunken head.

The idea came to Mark when he saw his wife carving out pumpkins for Halloween, and thought he could create something a little more scary.
