ANGRY father cut off his little fella in sheer disgust at it not giving him a son

The 36-year-old, known under a pseudonym of A Yong, used a knife to hack off his 1.2 inch penis, the People's Daily Online reports.

The man from a countryside area near Quanzhou City was ashamed that he had two daughters.

His torment at his failure was made worse by repeated taunting and jeering from neighbours.

Chinese media report the bullied man has two daughters aged three and 13.

But one day it got too much and Mr Yong's hit the bottle to numb his shame about not having produced a son.

Family members say he downed five shots of spirits before deciding his penis would have to go.

When they realized what happened, they rushed him to hospital immediately with the little organ in a bag of ice.

Huang Zhihong, a doctor on the night shift at the time, said: \"The severed part is around 1.2 inches long.\"

Medics then set about trying to sow his manhood back on.

But the patient reportedly shouted at medical staff he did not want the penis back, although he eventually agreed was allegedly sewed back on after a four-hour-long operation.

Doctor Huang who did the surgery told reporters it would be about six to 12 months before it healed. The member will also lose length because of the severing.
