Albanian lands news anchor role after raunchy screen test

An ‘aspiring news presenter" apparently landed her dream job on TV after wearing an open top that exposed parts of her breast during a screen test.

Enki Bracaj, 21, was said to have impressed bosses at Albania"s Zjarr channel with her ability to read the daily headlines despite her attire leaving a lot of people scratching their heads.

‘Most agree that her presentation style is somewhat awkward, but we are working on that and to be honest it doesn"t seem to be doing any harm to her viewing figures," said a spokesperson for the station, according to Mail Online.

Bracai, from capital Tirana, has not been deterred by people who may feel her outfits are inappropriate.

She added: ‘It is not easy to enter the world of television. So it was obvious that if I wanted to make it I had to be brave and offer something different.

‘I checked first with my parents and when I found that they also supported me in my decision, it wasn"t a problem for me to go ahead like this."

The young presenter, a public relations graduate, has built up a following online and clips of her inteational news presentations have proved popular on YouTube.

‘Good, this good," wrote one user.

But is she for real or is this whole thing just a critique on news stations that apparently use beautiful women to attract audiences?
