Accused drug smuggler/bikini model Simone Farrow nabbed in Australia
The former face of Ed Hardy bikinis, who was accused of being the mastermind of an inteational drug ring, has been arrested in Australia after going on the lam more than a month ago.
Simone Farrow was caught in a seedy motel on the Gold Coast after skipping out on court appearances for her 2009 arrest on charges that she was shipping meth from the U.S. to Australia. But, really, she had a good excuse for going into hiding: Her life is in danger.
Farrow told reporters upon her arrest, \"The only reason I've done this is because someone was trying to murder me.\" She added that she has had \"relationships with numerous underworld figures,\" who we're guessing are probably fans of the classy Ed Hardy look.
