Teenager Moses Kamin, who is accused of strangling his foster parents, will be prosecuted as an adult, authorities said Monday.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Kamin, 15, is to be arraigned Tuesday in Alameda County Superior Court after prosecutors formally file charges against him in the deaths of Robert Kamin, 55, and Susan Poff, 50.

Fox affiliate KTVU reports Moses Kamin had admitted to murdering the couple.

Police discovered the couple's bodies hidden in the back of their car parked outside their home. Police were called to the family's home on Friday by a coworker who was conceed when Robert Kamin did not show up for work at the San Francisco County Jail. He was a criminal psychologist.

Police determined that Poff was strangled first and it appeared Robert Kamin was beaten to death.

Law enforcement officials said the car was charred, as it someone had tried to set it on fire. Police arrested their son, Moses Kamin, who they adopted 10 years ago.

Coworkers said the couple had been arguing with their foster son. Some of the fights were over him spending too much time in the Occupy Oakland encampment. A family friend told KTVU that those arguments were not what led to the killings but would not say what did.

Moses Kamin now faces two counts of murder and a special circumstance alleging he committed multiple murders. He faces life in prison without parole if found guilty.
