“Jobs Bus” hitting DeKalb streets in September

DeKalb County’s ”jobs bus – an RV outfitted with computers, private interview area and office gear for job seekers – will be parked in several areas around the county this week.

The county’s outfitted the RV with computers, a private interview area and office gear in a bid to bringing together job seekers and businesses for recruiting, screening and training.

This week, the bus will be stationed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Redan-Trotti Library, 1569 Wllbo Road, near Lithonia.

It also will be stationed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the Decatur Housing Authority, 481 Elective Ave., Decatur and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesley Chapel Library, 2861 Wesley Chapel Road, near Decatur.
