Woman ‘swallows handful of MDMA’ after being arrested
An arrested woman apparently tried to make the most of a bad situation by allegedly reaching for a handful of MDMA and swallowing it after being temporarily let out of handcuffs by police.
Kimberly Noelle Collera, 23, was arrested at her home in Tampa, Florida, on charges of drug trafficking.
But when police briefly let her out of cuffs to sign a waiver, she reached for her MDMA stash and gulped down a handful, reportedly telling officers: ‘If I’m going back to prison, I’ll at least get high before I go.’
The joint police and FBI sting into the Latin Kings street gang uncovered drugs and guns, but Collera claimed she was the only person breaking the law.
‘I’m the only one doing illegal activity here,’ she told arriving police.
‘Everything is mine.’
