Wisconsin SWAT team kills fleeing little dog after poop argument
A MAN shot with his hands in the air. A baby boy but by a grenade thrown into his crib. Now the militarized police force has more blood on its hands — a puppy which had pooped in the wrong spot.
A heavily armed and armoured police SWAT team was called to a leafy neighbourhood dispute at the weekend.
It all began when a small dog strayed into a neighbour’s yard and pooped on the manicured lawn.
“His dog proceeded to soil my grass and I asked him you are going to pick that up because I don’t want that sitting on my grass,” resident Kim Polk told local media.
It all began to escalate when the dog’s owner got angry and kicked the faeces into a pile of leaves the homeowner was raking.
It rapidly got out of hand when he presented a bow and arrow, and then a machete.
Naturally, they called police.
But when the heavily armoured SWAT vehicle pulled into the street and the dozen tactical officers — and a Germah Shepherd — took up positions with their guns, the little dog ran out of its owner’s home to see what all the noise was about.
It was an event caught on camera phone.
Startled by what it saw, the little dog tued to run back into the house.
Before it could get back through the door it was gunned down by police.
“Oh my God!” a witness can be heard screaming. “They shot the dog. You f*cking a**holes!”
Wisconsin police officials have promised an inteal review.
