Vermont police find body believed to be missing boarding school teacher Melissa Jenkins
Vermont police believe they've found the slain body of a popular boarding school teacher whose SUV was found stranded in a rural area late Sunday with her baby son inside.
Vermont State Police Maj. Ed Ledo wouldn't say for sure whether the body found Monday in Baet was Melissa Jenkins, 33, who taught science at the prestigious St. Johnsbury Academy, The Associated Press reported

A friend who was looking for Jenkins called police on Sunday night. Her 2006 silver Suzuki Grand Vitara was found not far from her home in a rural area at 11:30 p.m. She had no restraining orders out on anyone, police said.
