MANITOWOC — A 17-year-old Two Rivers youth who was playing video games with a 15-year-old boy in a dark apartment in July was charged in adult court Tuesday for sexually assaulting the younger boy.
He also is charged in Manitowoc County Circuit Court with sexual assaulting a 19-year-old man after playing video games on a separate occasion in July.
Robert A. Wordell, 2015-A 14th St., faces two felony counts: first-degree child sexual assault — intercourse with a person under 16 with the use or threat of force and/or violence on July 9 and second-degree sexual assault with the use of force on July 11.
According the criminal complaint:
The 15-year-old boy told a Two Rivers police detective that Wordell began assaulting him in the living room while he was playing a video game. The victim said that he told Wordell to stop and tried pushing him away but Wordell is much bigger than he is and kept coming back. Wordell then took the victim into the bathroom, where he assaulted him.
The 19-year-old victim told police that Wordell raped him in Wordell’s bedroom after they had played video games in the living room. He said he tried pushing Wordell off, but that Wordell is bigger than he is.
Wordell admitted to sexual contact with both victims.
He remains in custody. Bail was set at $500 with the condition that he has no contact with the victims or other any minors under the age of 17 except immediate family residing in the home. His initial court appearance is set for 2:30 p.m. Monday
