Truck Driver Jeffrey Fisher’s License Suspended After Fatal 495 Crash In Southboro
BOSTON – The Registry of Motor Vehicles has suspended the driver’s license of Jeffrey Fisher, the National Grid manager involved in a deadly crash on Route 495 in Southboro last week.
Fisher was driving a company dump truck when a backhoe fell off the truck’s trailer, crushing a woman in the back seat of a minivan Friday afteoon.
There had been safety conces about the truck and Fisher was in the middle of a test drive when the accident occurred.
Until the accident, Fisher had no major incidents on his driving record, according to the RMV.
