Three generations of family killed in horror car crash while returning from Disney World
A daughter, her mother and grandmother were all killed Saturday in a devastating car wreck in easte North Carolina as the family was driving home from Disney World.
Trooper G.G. Baes of the North Carolina Highway Patrol said the family's SUV blew a tire on northbound Interstate 95 at 4.20pm, near Wilson - 50 miles east of Raleigh.
The two older women were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the vehicle when it flipped over.
The trio killed in the tragic accident are Rosanny Marte, 22, Angela Marte, 46, and Rosa Marte, 71.
All are from New York and believed to live at the same address.
Five other family members in the SUV - including the husbands of Angela and Rosa Marte, and Angela's two other children and nephew - were hospitalised early on Sunday with non-life-threatening injuries, the officer told the New York Post.

'The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overtued,' he said.
Driver Lawrence Solomon told CBS New York: 'As soon as that tire hit the grass on the median, it started to flip over.
'The people out there were trying to get the children to lay still. They were trying to get everybody to lay still.'
