Anything can happen on live TV – but we can’t remember the last time we saw things tu this awkward during a broadcast.

The bizarre moment in question happened on local Ohio station WKBN, as reporter Derrick Lewis was covering a house fire in the town of Leavittsburg.

For a while things went smoothly as he interviewed resident Heather Tenney, whose garage had been set ablaze – until he asked her if she knew how the fire had started.

Because it appeared she did – and she wasted no time in telling him.

‘It was ’cause of my cousin and I don’t want to mention know names,’ Heather said pointedly – leaving the reporter bemused to say the least.

‘Your cousin?’ he reiterated, only to be told: ‘He’s mad because he can’t get with me. I’m married to my husband…it’s a long story, he put him in the hospital last month and he figured he’s going to do something else to get back.’

At which point Lewis drew the interview to a swift close. And looked relieved to be doing so.

We’re speechless…
