Texas teacher Kylie Modisette accused of sending nude photos of herself to teen student

A Texas middle school teacher is accused of sending multiple nude photos to a 14-year-old former student.

Kylie Rexann Modisette, 28, is charged with misdemeanor distribution of harmful material to a minor.

Huntington Independent School District police contacted Texas Ranger Travis Brazil on April 4 requesting assistance with the investigation, according to KTRE.

Brazil said he leaed that Modisette, who teaches on the middle school campus, sent nude photographs of herself to the student through Snapchat in December.

Kylie Rexann Modisette, 28, admitted to Texas Rangers in Huntington that she sent nude photos to herself to a 14-year-old boy over Snapchat. Modisette was the boy's English teacher when he attended Huntington Middle School

The boy was able to delete the photos from his cell phone, but not before other students took a screenshot and distributed it to students throughout the school, according to Brazil.

The boy told authorities Modisette sent him multiple nude photos and that he was a former student of hers.

Modisette confessed to sending two photos to the student, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KTRE.

Modisette was arrested on Thursday and booking into the Angelina County Jail. She posted a $1,500 bail.
