Taunton Man Richard Forbes To Be Charged With Killing Father-In-Law
TAUNTON, Mass. -- A Taunton man accused of killing his father-in-law is scheduled for arraignment in Superior Court.
Richard Forbes is expected to be arraigned Friday in Fall River on a charge of murder in connection with the August death of Francis Douglas Carreiro, 59.
Carreiro was found dead of a gunshot wound in his home. Police think his body had been there several days. The men shared different halves of the same duplex.
Authorities said there had been tension between the men.
Forbes has been held without bail since pleading not guilty at his district court arraignment.
Two other men Forbes allegedly recruited to participate in the slaying are facing charges in connection with Carreiro's death.
