WHEN police investigating a missing 10-year-old girl contacted the mom, she hung up saying she was a stripper and had to get on stage.

Bobbey Jo Boucher, 29, was charged with obstructing Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies after hanging up on the phone as they tried to find her daughter, who had been missing four hours, The Smoking Gun reported.

The 10-year-old was last seen yesterday when Boucher dropped her off at a barbecue on her way to work at Calendar Girls in Hudson, Florida. The child was meant to retu home after the barbecue, but when she had not been seen for four hours, the girl’s grandmother contacted police.

Deputies then called Boucher on her cellphone to get more information on the child. Boucher allegedly said she was the last person to see her daughter, but she was too busy working to offer any more help.

“I have to get on stage,” the woman allegedly said before hanging up the phone, police said.

When asked about the disconnection, the woman claimed she’d answered a call on the other line and lost the deputy.

Her daughter was found shortly afterwards and police arrested Boucher for obstructing the investigation.
