Severe storms predicted in US ... but will there be a Sharknado?
THIS breeze has bite!
It might look like a promo for Sharknado 2 , but this a real weather map showing damaging winds gnashing across America in the shape of a shark (albeit a yellow one with red blotches).
The creature’s body — complete with fin and tail — stretches thousands of kilometres from the Mid West to the East Coast.
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center map shows the most severe gusts are expected in Washington D.C., in the eye of the shark.
While it’s unlikely the evening weather front will see killer fish plunging from the sky as per the preposterous movie franchise, as one joualist at the Washington Post quipped, there could be a catch.
