Powerball jackpot hits $325 million
No one won Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot of $250 million, but one person in Georgia should be thankful for winning $1 million in the drawing.
The Powerball number of 26 was elusive, but three people, one each in Texas, Georgia and New York, matched five numbers, 8-18-24-30-39, for a $1 million prize. In Texas, the winning ticket was a Power Play ticket, and the winner will get $2 million.
The jackpot has now rolled over to an estimated $325 million, with a $212.8 million cash value.
The next drawing will be held Saturday
