Pictured: 'Drunken' driver dangles from overpass after crashing truck into railing
A man in Oregon crashed his truck into a railing on an overpass and was stuck dangling over Highway 217 on Saturday.
The bizarre accident took place at around 3.40pm on the Southwest Danny Road overpass in Beaverton.
Traffic was stopped in both directions as fire crews rushed to secure the truck hanging by its rear wheels over the road below and pull the driver to safety.

The vehicle was hitched to a fire truck with ropes and chains to keep it from plummeting down, KOIN6 reported.
Firefighters then used another engine truck equipped with a basket at the end of a ladder to get the motorist, Matthew Hamilton, 38, out to safety.
According to police, alcohol played a role in the crash.

Hamilton was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Following his release, Fox12 reported that the 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with DUI and driving while suspended for a previous DUI.
Hamilton was the only person inside the truck.
A crane company has been called to remove the red truck from the overpass.
