NY Man Anthony Lacertosa Killed during fight at his engagement party
New York Police says a man was found stabbed to death at a Staten island restaurant while celebrating his engagement.
27-year-old Antonio Lacertosa was apparently coming to the aide of his brothers who were involved in an argument at the party, according to police.
Lacertosa got into a fight with a worker at Espana Restaurant around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday.
The employee slashed Lacertosa in the chest with a kitchen knife in the alley behind the restaurant before fleeing, according to police sources.
EMS took Lacertosa to Staten Island University hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Lacertosa and his fiancee were childhood sweethearts who met at Tottenville High School according to reports. They were engaged in December.
Police say they have made no arrests and are still investigating the incident.
