A North Carolina teaching assistant has been fired after allegations of “inappropriate sexual behavior with an underage person.”
WWAY reported that 25-year-old Rebecca Ann Morgan was fired earlier this week after previously being suspended.
The suspect was a teaching assistant at Ashley High School in Wilmington. The alleged victim is said to have been a 17-year-old female. It remains uncertain if she was a student.
Details surrounding the allegations have not been released. No charges have currently been filed, but the New Hanover County Sheriff is reportedly investigating.
