SOME may cackle and laugh loudly - for a long time - others may be slightly shocked or offended.

Either way we doubt this US news presenter intended to tu a traffic report into a part of the male anatomy.

Siobhan Riley was updating Michigan TV viewers on traffic conditions in Saginaw, when she accidentally drew a picture of what appears to be a accident (although according to legendary psychiatrist Sigmund Freud there are no accidents).

Describing the road works, Ms Riley draws her hand along the map completely unaware of the shape she created during the segment on ABC news affiliate WJRT.

It could happen to anyone right?

To be fair, it isn't the first time an on-air blooper has left viewers and presenters red-faced.

Who could forget Karl Stefanovic losing it on air after a reference was made to a "long, stabby thing" that he kept by his bedside in the event of a home invasion?

The Today host famously asked co-host Lisa Wilkinson if she was lucky enough to have something similarly "long and stabby" in the bedroom during a show last year.

Reporter Ben Fordham weighed in, revealing it was his own personal preference for golf clubs as weapons of defence before saying "I'd want to be standing back and whacking them off from a distance."

While Fordham was left red-faced, Stefanovic had to leave the set after being unable to contain his laughter.
