Mystery grim reaper terrifying mourners at cemetery

Mouers are terrified of mystery grim reaper figure who has been standing over cemeteries in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Witnesses have seen the man, who calls himself the 'Light Wanderer', walking alongside the tombstones and monuments.

However, the man in the ominous cloak insists that they have nothing to be scared of - unless they wish harm upon him.

After refusing to reveal his true identity, the man says that he appears at the cemetery to pray for the dead and to spread a message.

“The weight of time weighs heavy on our souls,” he said to KRQE News 13.

“There is a place where sleepers sleep and dreamers dream and patiently await."

Cars have pulled over in shock of seeing the reaper on top of the hills in Gibson, Albuquerque.

Residents believe that the man is just seeking attention.

“There’s cars all over, and it’s just causing chaos,” said local woman Priscilla Valdez.
