Inmate Jesse Michael Bourque escapes from New Hampshire prison
MANCHESTER, N.H. - Police are looking for an inmate who escaped from a New Hampshire prison Wednesday night.
Jesse Michael Bourque, a minimum security inmate, did not report back to the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester at his scheduled time.
The 29-year-old Bourque left the housing unit at around 6 p.m. Wednesday to go to work with a retu time of 8:30 p.m. He failed to report to work and did not retu to the unit. At around 9:30 p.m., Bourque was placed on walkaway status.
Bourque is described as a white male, 69 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his left arm, abdomen, and his left right leg.
Bourque was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court to three concurrent 2 to 7 year sentences for second-degree assault, resisting arrest, and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on June 17, 2010 and is eligible for parole on December 16, 2011. His maximum release date will be December 15, 2016.
The New Hampshire State Police and the Department of Corrections are investigating.
