Hypnotist Kevin Geyer Accused Of Sex With Entranced Woman

An amateur hypnotist has been accused of having sex with a woman while she was in a trance.

Kevin Geyer has pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent liberties at a court in the northweste state of Washington.

Court documents say the 25-year-old hypnotised the woman on 4 June at his home in Kennewick.

He allegedly dressed her in an attempt to cover up what had happened before waking her from the trance, according to the Tri-City Herald.

The newspaper reported that the woman told police she vaguely recalled the incident and later found evidence on her clothing.

He "placed (the woman) under a state of hypnosis directing her to block out all of her senses except her hearing", court documents said.

She said that when she confronted him he apologized.

Geyer, who appeared in court on Wednesday, had reportedly used hypnotism several times on her previously.
