Earlier today, the jackpot hit $640 million and people called the figure "almost too big to imagine."
This followed days of frenzied ticket-buying since Tuesday's regular drawing failed to yield a winner.
Since then, people have been lining up outside mini marts and obsessively checking state lottery websites for a chance to win big.
