Gary Giordano: Only suspect in Robyn Gardner disappearance arrested for having sex in parking garage

Gary Giordano, the main suspect in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba, has been arrested for indecent exposure, according to police.

The 51-year-old was charged on May 18 after police caught him in the middle of 'sexual activity' in a public parking garage at 5.45pm. 

The divorced father-of-three, from Gaithersburg, is due to appear in court on August 10 - a week after the one-year anniversary of Miss Gardner's disappearance on August 2.

According to a police report obtained by RadarOnline, Giordano and Carol Ann Bock, 45, were caught in the back of a black Cadillac SUV.

After receiving complaints from members of the public, officers arrived to find the pair naked in the back of the vehicle on a mattress.

A second blanket had been draped over the window in 'an attempt to conceal their activity' according to a police report.

Giordano and Bock, of Springfield, Tennessee were arrested at the scene and charged with indecent exposure. Giordano faces up to three years in jail if found guilty.

Chief of police Michael Pristoop told Wbal.com: 'While we recognize that Mr Giordano enjoys an infamous reputation, the Annapolis arrest was simply a matter of effective police work in response to citizen complaints. '

Last summer, Giordano visited Aruba with Miss Gardner for a five-day trip after meeting her on a swingers' website.

He told prosecutors his lover had been swept out to sea while they were snorkeling on August 2. Neither her body nor any physical evidence has been found related to her disappearance.

Giordano was subsequently recently released from an Aruba prison where he spent those four months, protesting his innocence.

He also suggested the 35-year-old blonde had been abducted by human traffickers during their trip. Prosecutors have not found a body, motive or weapon in the disappearance of Gardner.
