Former Teacher Justin Coleman Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A former fourth-grade teacher in Alexandria has pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child poography.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Justin Coleman videotaped himself with two girls, who were unaware of what they were being told to do, engaging in sexually explicit conduct. He also allegedly altered existing child poographic images to depict former students engaging in sexual conduct. Prosecutors say the girls in the videotape were not his students.
Coleman, who is from Falls Church, had been a teacher at John Adams Elementary School. He was put on leave in April after his arrest and was dismissed after being indicted.
Prosecutors say Coleman faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years for each charge. He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 28.
