Florida woman Danisa Landaeta arrested for drawing picture of bomb on friend's bag at Miami International Airport
A Florida woman was arrested for drawing a picture of a bomb and writing the word "Boom" on her friend's suitcase, prompting an evacuation of Miami Inteational Airport.
Danisa Landaeta, 30, was charged with criminal mischief and for planting a fake bomb, officials said.
Landaeta admitted to scrawling the threats as a prank on her friend, who was at the Miami airport to catch a flight to Venezuela Tuesday afteoon.
When the friend checked her luggage with Santa Barbara Airlines, officials spotted the crude drawing - and notified airport security.
One of the airport's terminals was closed for an hour and several planes were diverted as police inspected the seemingly-suspicious piece of luggage.
The interruption cost more than $1,000, according to officials.
